Former NCB Officer Sameer Wankhede Sues Rakhi Sawant for Defamation: Sameer Wankhede, a former officer of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), is suing Rakhi Sawant and her attorney, Ali Kaashif Khan, for Rs 11 lakh. I have submitted the matter to the Dindoshi City Civil Court, located in Malad, Mumbai, India.
Sameer stated in his petition that Rakhi and Ali made efforts to disparage and tarnish his reputation.

Ali Kashif Khan told Etimes, “When we disclose the truth for the benefit of the public, we do not consider it defamation.” Second exception: “public conduct of public servants.” IPC 499. In good faith, having an opinion about a public servant’s official behavior or character only to the degree that it is visible in that behavior is not defamation.
“Since the issue is currently under consideration in court, we shall respond appropriately and resolve the dispute. He added, “I will pay him 11.01 lakh rupees if he establishes his case beyond a reasonable doubt.”
Rakhi Sawant has not yet responded to the allegations made by Sameer Wankhede.
