Kia will start the year with the launch of the new-generation Seltos on 2 January 2026. The company has already opened bookings. Customers can expect deliveries by the middle of the month. Kia has redesigned the Seltos with a longer and wider body. This change gives more room inside the cabin and makes the SUV feel bigger.
The new Seltos will offer many new features. These include a large connected display, a 10-way power driver seat with memory and lumbar support, a panoramic sunroof, an electronic parking brake, and Level 2 ADAS for safety. Mahindra XUV 7XO
Mahindra will reveal the facelifted XUV700 on 5 January. The updated model will carry the new name XUV 7XO. The SUV takes design inspiration from the XEV 9e concept.

Maruti e Vitara
Later in the January Maruti Suzuki will launch its first electric SUV for India called the e Vitara. The company has not shared the exact launch date yet, but dealerships will receive the car before the month ends. The e Vitara will come with two battery options, 49kWh and 61kWh. A front-mounted electric motor will power the SUV.
This model will mark Maruti Suzuki’s entry into the electric SUV space. The e Vitara is expected to be one of the most feature-packed vehicles ever sold by the brand in India. It will target buyers who want a reliable electric family SUV.
New Renault Duster
Renault will close the month with the launch of the third-generation Duster on 26 January 2026. The new Duster will use the CMF-B platform and will look very different from the older model. Renault will give it a bold new design and a much better interior.
