Galaxy S24 Ultra: According to a new disclosure by tipster Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature the same 200-megapixel camera as the Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, it will not inherit the 200-megapixel camera from the Samsung HP2. It will instead be outfitted with a new camera sensor.
The introduction of the Galaxy S24 series is anticipated for the first quarter of 2024. According to reports, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature several enhancements, including a new display design, a new periscope zoom camera, the largest internal storage capacity ever on a smartphone, and a more durable construction. According to the rumour, the principal camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be a 200-megapixel Samsung HP2SX. It has a 0.6m pixel dimension and a 1/13-inch camera sensor, the same as the HP2 camera sensor found on the S23 Ultra. According to the source, the HP2SX is an enhanced variant of the HP2.
According to additional reports, the quad-camera configuration will include a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 10-megapixel periscope zoom camera, and a new 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It will feature a 12-megapixel front camera, which was introduced on the S23 Ultra, for taking photographs.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra rumoured specifications
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumoured to have a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED screen with a Quad HD+ resolution of 3,120 x 1,440 pixels, up to 2,500 nits of luminance, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. It is speculated that the S24 Ultra will not feature an Exynos 2400 processor variant. In other words, the smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy should be available in all regions. It is anticipated that the device will ship with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 2TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The S24 Ultra will include a battery of at least 5,000 mAh. It will support 45W rapid charging, 25W wireless charging, and wireless charging in reverse. The device is anticipated to support additional features such as the S Pen, dual stereo speakers, One UI 6-based Android 14, an IP68-rated titanium chassis, and two-way satellite connectivity.
