The eighth season of Game of Thrones is all set to air on April 2019 and fans going to witness the action, drams, fight and all the mixed feelings for the last time as it is also the last season of GoT. Fans are desperately waiting for the last season of GoT and are paying tribute to the most-awaited Netflix TV-series in different ways.
As the date draws closer, the excitement has also been increasing and now it seems to have spread even to the cold climes of India’s Kashmir. A Kashmiri tribute, called ‘The Cure – Game of Thrones Kashmiri Tribute’ has been released last year in March which was directed by Ruman Hamdani has made it to the official Game of Thrones fan anthem compilation which includes different fan tributes from all over the world.
The first episode of Game of Thrones had aired in April 2011 on HBO. But despite eight years since the show’s release, fans have not stopped fawning over it. To show its appreciation for these fans, Game of Thrones has released an official fan anthem compiled from some of the fans in the world so far.

The director and editor of ‘The Cure,’ Ruman Hamdani, shared this official fan anthem compilation on Twitter and the post went viral in no time. He said, “Our tribute video featured by the official series handle #forthethrone.”

Many on the micro-blogging site appreciated the superfan’s efforts at recreating some of the iconic scenes of GoT. Former Chief ministers of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah also appreciated the Kashmiri tribute and shared it on Twitter.

The single Indian entry in the entire video stands out because it was shot in the snowy valleys of Gulmarg, very similar to the actual setting of Game of Thrones. The use of traditional instruments made the video even more interesting and attractive.
