GATE 2024 registration likely to start today at gate2024.iisc.ac.in

GATE 2024 registration: Today, August 30, the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore is likely to begin registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024. Students who qualify can fill out the GATE 2024 application form at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The registration deadline for the GATE exam in 2024 is September 29. Candidates can register until October 13 for a late fee.

According to the GATE 2024 eligibility requirements, candidates who are in their third or final year of a bachelor’s degree programme or have completed a government-approved bachelor’s degree programme in engineering, technology, science, architecture, or the humanities are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

The registration cost at IISc Bangalore has been separated into two categories. The application fee for female candidates and those from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) is Rs 900, while all other applicants must pay Rs 1,800. To complete the form, applicants will need these materials:

  • High-quality photograph of the candidate.
  • High-resolution photograph of candidate’s signature
  • If applicable, a scanned copy of the category (SC, ST) certificate in PDF format.
  • If applicable, a scanned copy of the PwD Certificate in PDF format.
  • If applicable, a scanned certificate of dyslexia in PDF format.
  • A scanned copy of a genuine photo identification document, such as an Aadhar-UID (preferred), passport, PAN card, voter ID card, or driver’s licence.

GATE 2024 will be administered on the 3, 4, 10, and 11 of February. The exam will be administered in two sessions and will last three hours.
