Gold, Silver price, January 11: Gold and silver prices have once again taken a toll and have increased by about RS 10. The gold price has risen from Rs 52,850 to Rs 52,860 and the silver price was at Rs 63,900 per kg.
The prices of both gold and silver vary accordingly across the nations, and even state wise in India the prices due to exercise duty, sales tax and other taxes are different.
In New Delhi, the capital of India the price of 22-carat gold is lower at Rs 48,460 per 10 gram, in Chennai, it fell to Rs 47,010 in Mumbai the rates were a little higher at Rs 48,470. In Chennai, for 24-carat gold the price is Rs 51,280.
Due to the rising pandemic and the new strain gold has become the safe Hven for traders and even led to huge profits in the year 2020 because of weakness in US Dollar and other related issues of elections and covid-19.
