The 59th Annual Grammy Awards was a star-studded affair at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles. But, the star of the night was Adele who won as many as five awards. While the top three honors including, Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year, were won by the British singer, Beyonce led the nominations list with a total of nine to her credit.
Adele stole the show with beating her in the top three categories. Notably, the Grammys 2017 was hosted by James Corden while Adele began the proceedings with a tremendous rendition of ‘Hello’.
The celebrated David Bowie and his album “Blackstar” bagged awards in all five of its nominated categories. Bowie passed away in January 2016.
