Gujarat BJP leader and former MLA Jayanti Bhanushali shot dead in train. Police said that the Bhanushali was carrying a firearm. The investigation is underway.
Jayanti Bhanushali, was shot dead in a train between Bhuj and Samakhiyali in the early hours of Tuesday, according to police.
The body of former MLA was found in the Sayaji Nagari Express at around 2 in the early morning. Police said that a licensed firearm was recovered from the spot belonging to him. Police are investigating if it is a suicide or a case of murder.
Bhanushali was the MLA from Abdasa in Kutch district from 2007 to 2012.
