In a shocking incident that surfaced from Gujarat, a 19-year-old was allegedly murdered by a minor boy who used to work as help in her house in Nandotra village of Vadgam in Banaskantha on Monday.
The boy was detained and sent to remand home and the police said that they would be conducting his medical test to ascertain his age.
The deceased has been identified as Meghna Bhatol. She was attacked using a sickle by the accused when she was alone in her house.
The police said that minor boy who worked as a house help was in one-sided love with the girl Meghna. He used to live with the family in the same house.
On Monday when the girl was alone in the house, he allegedly demanded sexual favors and when she refused he attacked her with a sickle repeatedly and killed her on the spot.
The police are still uncertain for the age of the boy so for that a medical examination will be conducted and further action will take place after that.
