- Aamir’s first feature film was Holi and the credits addressed him as Aamir Hussain Khan, which happens to be his real name. Ashutosh Gowariker also played an important role in the movie. However, commercially the movie did not do well. It was just a documentary made by some students of the Film and Television Institute of India.
- Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Darr, and Swades were first offered to Aamir Khan but since Mr. Perfectionist was too picky the roles went to Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan respectively, and became huge hits.
- The ‘Ghajini’ actor also tried his hands-on theatre with his stint with a theatre group called Avantar. He worked there for two years as a backstage crew. Theatre encouraged Aamir to become an actor and he came into Bollywood against his parents’ will.
- Aamir and Juhi Chawla have not done any movie together after Ishq. The duo made a wonderful on-screen pair and were very good friends until Aamir played a prank on Juhi during the filming of Ishq, after which Juhi was miffed at him.
