Happy Birthday Aamir Khan: Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan will turn a year older on March 14, 2021. The actor has given the highest-grossing films to the Bollywood industry. His films not only have impressed the critics but were total box office winners.

The actor has been synonymous with perfection and his films like PK, Dangal, Ghajini are the proofs. The actor is undoubtedly one of the most popular stars in India.

Aamir Khan will be seen next in a remake of the Hollywood Classic ’Forrest Gump’. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the movie also features Mona Singh in a key role. The film will hit the theatres on Christmas.

On the occasion of Aamir Khan’s 56th birthday, here are some lesser-known facts about his career:

  • Aamir’s first feature film was Holi and the credits addressed him as Aamir Hussain Khan, which happens to be his real name. Ashutosh Gowariker also played an important role in the movie. However, commercially the movie did not do well. It was just a documentary made by some students of the Film and Television Institute of India.
  • Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Darr, and Swades were first offered to Aamir Khan but since Mr. Perfectionist was too picky the roles went to Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan respectively, and became huge hits.
  • The ‘Ghajini’ actor also tried his hands-on theatre with his stint with a theatre group called Avantar. He worked there for two years as a backstage crew. Theatre encouraged Aamir to become an actor and he came into Bollywood against his parents’ will.
  • Aamir and Juhi Chawla have not done any movie together after Ishq. The duo made a wonderful on-screen pair and were very good friends until Aamir played a prank on Juhi during the filming of Ishq, after which Juhi was miffed at him. The duo worked in movies like Daulat Ki Jung, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar ke, Love Love Love, Tum Mere Ho, and so on
