Actor turned BJP MP Hema Malini’s warehouse was robbed and the Mumbai police are on the lookout for a domestic help, who is suspected of committing the crime. The theft came to light after the servant went incommunicado since five-six days. This prompted MP’s manager to visit the warehouse in DN Nagar, Andheri West.
The items lost include props, costumes, statues and imitation jewellery, probably mistaken for real. These were used by the actress for her film shoots and shows. It was estimated to be worth around Rs 90,000.
A complaint was filed with Juhu Police station against the suspect servant.
Well, this is not the first time that such incident has taken place. In 2010, Malini had reported a theft of jewelleries worth more than Rs 80 lakh. This also allegedly involved a domestic servant from her Goregaon home.
