One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal is all set to release on Valentine’s Day, Feb 14. The film starring Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan in lead roles also happens to be the debut of a newbie, Arushi Sharma.
The trailer of the film which released sometime backs surprised us with Arushi Sharma’s sweet act as she is seen romancing Kartik Aaryan in the film’s 90s portion.
While we have already seen a glimpse of her act in the trailer of Love Aaj Kal, let’s know more about the talented new actress.
- Arushi Sharma is not working with Imtiaz Ali for the first time as she was seen in a scene in Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer Tamasha. She portrayed the role of a school teacher Samyukta in the film.
- Not many will remember but Arushi was a part of a video called 60 Second Conversations which featured her along with Little Things star Dhruv Sehgal.
- While shooting for Tamasha, Arushi even mingled with the lead cast of Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor at the film’s screening. Arushi is seen posing with Ranbir, Deepika, Ranveer Singh, and Imtiaz.
- Imtiaz Ali recently revealed in an interview that he has known Arushi for years. As for her casting in the film, it was famed casting director Mukesh Chhabra who made it happen and it looks like we have him to thank for bringing this charming lady in the film.
We just can’t wait to see the talented actress in Love Aaj Kal opposite Kartik Aaryan.
