Holi is a festival where everyone from small to large gets together and indulge in the chaotic game of water and colour. Although there is enough awareness that using only natural colors is good for the skin, not everyone follows it. Often, artificial colors are difficult to remove and leave spots on the face and body.

It can be embarrassing to have weird spots of red, green or even black on your face when you go to school, college or the workplace.

Holi is full of lively celebrations. The so-called colour festival is about applying colour and splashing water on everyone. Children usually enjoy putting multiple colours on themselves, so it is difficult to remove them all. In addition, some colours are improperly made, which may even cause a rash. Before Holi 2020, we give you some tips to eliminate colour on your skin.

  • Moisturise your skin well before going out to play. Rub a lot of moisturizer on your body so the colour won’t stick too much to your skin. At least moisturise your face and hands.
  • Use warm water when bathing. Using too hot water can solidify the colour on the skin. Use warm or cold water to better remove stains.
  • Use citric acid in lemons to help remove hard spots. Rub lemon water, as direct acid can also cause itching. When using lemons, keep your eyes safe.
  • Scrub your face with tomatoes. Tomatoes help remove tan and colours from the face.
  • If you use notorious oil paint, then use coconut oil to rub your face.
  • Do not use harsh soap directly on your face. Take a pack of multani mitti mask. Or mix some milk with besan powder to make a paste. Apply it on your face for a while, then let it dry. Wash your face with warm water.
