Housefull 5 OTT Release Date: Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the fifth installment in the blockbuster “Housefull” franchise debuted on June 6, 2025, across over 5,000 screens in India.
The film, anchored by the iconic trio of Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Riteish Deshmukh, sails onboard a luxury cruise ship and weaves slapstick and suspense. With a murder mystery twist and prominent cameos (Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt), you get a full-blown masala thriller funny blockbuster.
The most expensive comedy to date for the series, with a budget of ₹225 crore. It earned a staggering ₹37.25 crore on day one globally and surpassed the ₹130 crore weekend, so ranking among the best Bollywood openers of 2025. It swiftly joined the ₹100 crore club in India alone within its first four days release.

Officially, there is no information on the OTT streaming release of the film. But fans are excitedly waiting for it’s OTT release. Amazon Prime Video has bagged Housefull 5’s rights. The movie’s streaming on OTT will take eight weeks or more. Given its theatrical release on June 6th, Housefull 5’s OTT debut will most probably come in the first week of August, that is, the eight-week window.
The expected window remains late July–early August. Newer changes, however, point to a possible earlier release perhaps first week of July caused by mixed box-office reaction that speeds up a shift to digital. Another interesting question now is which version of the climax will be shown to OTT viewers. The climax of Housefull 5 will most certainly experience the same with its streaming release as two versions were released for public view.
If reports held true, Housefull 5 could land on Prime Video between July 18 and August 1. But if box-office momentum holds strong, the makers might delay the streaming debut back toward late July or August—making the final date a dynamic choice based on theatrical trends.
