Around 23,000 students wait for the ICSE and ISC exam results will end today. In the meantime, students all across India expressed their mixed feelings ahead of results which will be announced at 3 PM today i.e., on Friday. Every student shared different feelings and reactions regarding the release of the result, hence, this year for students is full of complications, and confusion.

Lucknow students shared their feelings and said that they were nervous, while Prayagraj students expressed confidence and eagerly awaited their results.

A student in Chandigarh said he was a little nervous, but expecting good scores.

The following is what students from different parts of the country said ahead of their results:

Several students of ICSE, ISC board in Lucknow seem nervous and tensed ahead of their results which will be out shortly today at 3 PM. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, the exam was cancelled mid way through March 19, and the rest of the exams cannot be held thereafter.

Manan Gupta, who has taken the class 12 exam (Commerce stream) from La Martiniere College, Lucknow was a little nervous. He said, “Not thinking too much about the result as it unnecessarily increases anxiety level.” He also said that he will be happy to figure in 80% bracket and he wishes to do BBA after which he plans to start his own business.

Anmol Goel (ISC examination), Commerce stream from St Teresa’s Day School and College, Model House has also opted for Mathematics. He said, “Yes, I am little nervous and concerned about the results.” Anmol further wants to pursue Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) from National PG College.

Students reactions from Prayagraj:

The twin brothers Khushagra and Yashagra Tripathi, residents of Daraganj locality of Prayagraj are eagerly awaiting the results of their intermediate exams. Both students of St Joseph’s College have taken the exam in the art stream.

Kushagra achieved 85% in his high school examinations, said, “All my exams went very well and I am hopeful of scoring in the 90’s. I am little worried for the English language paper as marking in it is usually strict, but I am confident that I would do well.”

Therefore, to ensure a little divine power before the exam, he further said, “I offered my prayers to the Almighty before and during the exams. I believe now is the time to accept the results of the karma.”

His brother Yashagra Tripathi, who scored 87% in his high school said, “Geography exam did not take place due to lockdown. I am sure still that I would bag a score in 90’s.”

As for any competition between brothers, they both said: “None”. “It will be celebration time irrespective of who score more than the other.”

Students reactions from Chandigarh:

ISC student, Sachin Rawat from Chandigarh said, “I am a little nervous about my results today but I am expecting good percentage. I have worked hard for the examination and my parents keep motivating me.”

While Tanya Rana, ISC student from Chandigarh said, “I am not keeping my expectations very high. I have worked hard and I’ll get good numbers. I’m keeping myself busy today to keep myself calm.”

The class 10 (ICSE) and class 12 (ISC) 2020 results will be going be announced on Friday at 3 pm, said Gerry Arathoon, chief executive and secretary, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), in a press statement on Thursday.
