IND vs ENG: Potential changes India could make for 4th Test in Ranchi

So far, the IND vs ENG series has been a marvelous spectacle to watch as spectators. In part, this is due to the brilliant performance of both teams. With things panned out, the last two games are expected to be a cracker with India leading the series 2-1.

India can make two changes for the 4th Test against England in Ranchi

Now all eyes are on the 4th Test between India and England to be played in Ranchi from 23rd February. This will be an important opportunity for the Indian team to seal the series in the next match.

We will look at two possible changes that India can make for the game against England in Ranchi a few days from now.

KL Rahul in place of Rajat Patidar

Amongst all the young players in the team, Rajat Patidar has disappointed a great deal in the ongoing IND vs ENG series. He has failed to make a mark in the series and it will not be surprising if he is dropped from the next match. Patidar himself made it easy for team management to drop KL Rahul before his return to the team for the 4th Test. He failed to score more than 40 runs in all four innings. However, those around him took advantage of the opportunity with both hands.

Bumrah likely to be rested, fit-again Rahul set to be back for Ranchi Test

Mukesh Kumar in place of Jasprit Bumrah

Several reports have suggested that Jasprit Bumrah will not be playing in the 4th India vs England Test. Since he has bowled 80 overs in three games so far, BCCI wishes to give him a rest to manage his workload with all the cricket to come. As the leading wicket-taker for the Indian team, he has been brilliant with the ball. Mukesh Kumar is likely to replace him in the team if he is rested. He was released from the Indian squad for the third Test to play in the Ranji game, and he returned with six wickets.
