Jignesh Mewani apologises to people of Bihar’ questions PM’s silence on sensitive issues

Begusarai: Independent MLA from Vadgam constituency, Gujarat Jignesh Mevani apologises to people of Bihar about the ongoing forcible migration from Gujarat, while he was addressing a rally with Kanhaiya Kumar former Jawaharlal Nehru Students Union president and his friend in Begusarai, Bihar.

Jignesh asks for an explanation from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and questions his silence about the forceful migration of north Indians from Gujarat. “Peoples migration from Gujarat won’t be tolerated at any costs,” says Jignesh.
“PM must speak up and breaks his silence, why he is always silent on sensitive issues? Modi is sitting at the supreme post and therefore he needs to answer to the people that why BJP government in Gujarat didn’t stop the forcible evictions of people from north India,” asks Jignesh.

Thousands of people from north India have already left Gujarat, following the Violence sparked a mass migrant’s exodus. Migrants who contributed a major part of the workforce in major cities of Gujarat are engulfed in fear and praying for their safety.
Jignesh Mevani is accompanying Kanhaiya Kumar in his election campaign in Begusarai Constituency, where Kanhaiya is in all likelihood to contest the upcoming Loksabha election 2019.

While speaking at the rally he also attacked Gujarat’s Chief Minister Vijay Rupani for maintaining the shrill silence for a long time to respond to the urgent need of protection to these workers being attacked by goons. He said, “Gujarat CM Rupani didn’t speak for seven days, PM is also silent. They couldn’t stop thousands of people from being displaced, couldn’t ensure their safety, and blamed the Congress Party for the entire violence. What kind of joke is this?”

He appealed to the people of Bihar that after the migrant’s exodus in Gujarat, the people of Gujarat have got disillusioned with the PM Modi. So all the opposition parties should come together and join hands in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, and ensure “Defeat BJP and save the country(Bhajpa Harao, Desh Bachao).”
