Jubilant Foodworks to acquire 10.76 per cent stake in Barbeque Nation for Rs 92 crore

Jubilant FoodWorks which has been operating some of the biggest food chains in India from dominos pizza to Dunkin doughnuts has reportedly been in talks to buy a 10.76% stake in Barbeque National Hospital Limited (BHNL) operated Barbeque Nation for about Rs 92 crores.

Jubilant FoodWorks which has been operating some of the biggest food chains in India from dominos pizza to Dunkin doughnuts has reportedly been in talks to buy a 10.76% stake in Barbeque National Hospital Limited (BHNL) operated Barbeque Nation for about Rs 92 crores.

As per the Barbeque National Hospital Limited (BHNL), the jubilant food works has said to invest about Rs 92 crores in Barbeque Nation and has been in talks to enter a share subscription agreement to acquire shares and reinstate shareholders.

Barbeque National Hospital Limited (BHNL) operated Barbecue Nation has more than 138 restaurants across 73 cities, if the deal between jubilant food works and barbecue nation works out, then it would be a great investment. The company is said to invest Rs 92 crore and for 10.76 % stake in Barbeque National Hospital Limited (BHNL)which will lead to a profitable venture for all of them.

Talking about Barbeque National Hospital Limited (BHNL) operated Barbecue Nation, it’s a big food chain which provides grilling of kebabs both veg and non-veg live.

Jubilant Foodworks Chairperson Shyam S Bhartia and its Co-Chairman Hari S Bhartia gave the proposed investment tactic for investing in barbecue nation as it will create value for the shareholders.

So that’s why 10.76 investment for Rs 92 crore makes sense. The Barbeque national hospital limited had reported total revenue of Rs 742.5 crore in 2018-19 on a consolidated basis.
