Jyotiraditya Scindia and Milind Deora – senior Congress leaders, removed the name of the grand-old-party from their official Twitter account on Monday, November 24.
While Mr Scindia’ Twitter bio now reads “public servant and cricket enthusiast”, that of Mr Deora says, “India’s former Minister for Telecom, IT, Posts, Shipping & Ports”.
“A month back I had changed my bio on Twitter. On people’s advice I had made my bio shorter. Rumours regarding this are baseless,” Jyotiraditya Scindia told news agency ANI.
Earlier, Mr Scindia’s bio read “former Member of Parliament, Former Minister for Power, MoS Commerce and Industry; MoS Communications, IT and post”.
