The most awaited movie was released on Wednesday two days prior due to the long weekend. The movie is getting mixed reviews from the audience and the critics.
Although the visual appeal of the film is being widely appreciated by everyone, the storyline didn’t appeal the audience much. The film has made a grand opening and collected a hefty amount on the very first day thereby emerging as the biggest opener of 2019 so far.
The film which opened more than 4000+ screens has collected Rs 21.60 crores on its first day of the release. Mahavir Jayanti holiday has added to the huge numbers and the film has held a benefit of the holiday. But now on the second day, the film has witnessed a dip in the numbers and it’s not even a smaller decline but a bigger one.
On the second day, the film has raked in Rs 11.45 Cr. taking the total to ₹ 33.05 cr. India biz confirmed trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Also, the movie is the biggest opened or Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan so far.
The movie has a huge star cast including Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha in pivotal roles.
The movie is helmed by Abhishek Verman and produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Production.
It is expected to rise high on Friday being a holiday weekend due to Good Friday.
