Kantara Advance Booking: The wait is almost over for fans of Rishab Shetty’s new movie Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1. This movie is a prequel to Kantara released in 2022. It tells the story of how the legend of Kaadubettu Shiva started during the Kadamba dynasty era. The movie also shows ancient forests, myths, and the old traditions of the Daiva system.

The movie is coming to theatres on October 2, 2025, which is during Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra. The film got a UA certificate from the Censor Board, with just one small cut. It will release in many languages like Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, English, and even Spanish.

Kantara Advance Booking is Huge
Even before the release, people are buying tickets quickly. Advance bookings have already reached around ₹18 crore, and more than 4.75 lakh tickets are sold across India. Kerala was one of the first states where tickets went on sale, and fans there rushed to book seats for the first shows. Other states like Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are also showing strong interest.
However, the advance booking in Hindi-speaking areas and the USA is slower than expected. Even so, the movie is getting a lot of attention online and in the media, and people are very excited to watch it on the big screen.
