Lokah Chapter 1 OTT Release Update: Malayalam actor Kalyani Priyadarshan’s superhero movie Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is still running strong in theatres even after 30 days of its release. Many theatres remain full even now and now people are eagerly waiting to watch it on OTT platforms but the makers of the movie have not officially shared any release date yet.

Reports online suggest the movie may arrive on Netflix on October 23, according to OTT Flix. However, the producer of the film, Dulquer Salmaan, has asked fans not to believe these rumours. Story and Stars of the Film
Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra features Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role as Chandra. The movie also stars Chandu Salimkumar, Arun Kurian, Nishanth Sagarm, and Sarath Sabha. Produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, the story is a fantasy superhero tale. Chandra comes to Bangalore, gets caught up with an organ trafficking gang, and discovers she has supernatural powers. She uses these powers to fight evil and become a superhero.

Box Office Success and Lokah Chapter 2
The film has earned huge numbers at the box office. After one month, it collected Rs 143.56 crore in India and Rs 284 crore worldwide. This makes it the highest-grossing Malayalam film, surpassing Mohanlal’s L2: Empuraan.
Dulquer Salmaan also teased the next chapter of the story. On September 27, 2025, the makers released a teaser for Lokah Chapter 2, which will feature Tovino Thomas.
