In a shocking incident, a person walked with his wife’s head to the police station. Satish, husband of the deceased is a resident of Chikmagalur, Karnataka.
He confessed to the crime in front of the police and said that his wife was having an affair with a third person. He also said, “I have no regret of killing my wife but I am disappointed that I couldn’t kill her lover.” The police immediately arrest him.
It is one of its kind of a cold-blooded murder and everyone at the police station was shocked to hear the horrific detail of the accused. Such crimes are showing the plight of women in our country where we are talking of equal rights to women. It raises serious concern about the regressive mindset dominated by the patriarchal social order where women have always been subject to the lesser importance and had been facing such oppression.
Video of the horrific crime circulating on social media shows that the killer husband is walking to the police station and smiling. In his confession of this gruesome crime, Satish felt that being a husband it is his right thing to do, in order to claim his ‘social reputation’ of being a Man.
Earlier on September 2, a similar incident was reported from Advent Park area where a woman has killed her former boyfriend to get rid of him.
