Karnataka Vande Bharat Train Timings Revised From March 15 Ahead of Ugadi

Indian Railways will revise timings for several Vande Bharat Express trains running through Karnataka from March 15. The changes aim to manage Ugadi travel demand and improve operations across the South Western Railway network.

Karnataka Vande Bharat Train Timings: With the festival of Ugadi coming soon, Indian Railways has shared an important update for passengers travelling on premium trains. The South Western Railway (SWR) zone has changed the timings of several Vande Bharat Express trains that run through Karnataka and nearby states.

Railway officials said the new schedule will start from March 15. These changes will affect a few Vande Bharat services that pass through important stations in the region. The railway department made these adjustments to manage the higher number of passengers during the festival time. Officials also said the new timings will help trains run more smoothly and improve connections for travellers.

Passengers who are planning to travel on these routes are advised to check the updated train timings before leaving for their journey so they do not face confusion at the station.

Hubballi-Pune Vande Bharat (20669): Revised Arrival And Departure

The Hubballi–Pune Vande Bharat Express (20669) will run with a small change in its schedule at a few stations. As per the new timing, the train will reach Belagavi at 7:05 am and it will leave the station at 7:10 am.

Railway authorities have also decided to add a trial halt at Ghataprabha station. This stop is mainly introduced to help passengers from Belagavi district and nearby areas who use the Vande Bharat service for quicker travel. According to the new plan the train will arrive at Ghataprabha at 7:48 am and depart from there at 7:50 am.

KSR Bengaluru-Dharwad Vande Bharat (20661/20662)

The KSR Bengaluru-Dharwad Vande Bharat Express will also operate according to the updated schedule.

Train 20661 (Bengaluru To Dharwad)

  • Arrival at Davanagere:9:30am
  • Arrival at Haveri:10:20am
  • Arrival at Hubballi: 11:15am

Train 20662 (Dharwad To Bengaluru – Return Journey)

Arrival at Haveri: 02:48 PM

  • Arrival at Davanagere:3:33pm
  • Arrival at Yeshwantpur:7:21pm
  • Departure from Yeshwantpur: 7:23pm

These adjustments are expected to improve coordination with other train services and ensure smoother passenger movement across the region.

Belagavi-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat (26751)

The Belagavi-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express (26751) will also run according to revised timings at several important stations.

Under the new schedule:

  • Arrival at Haveri:8:42am
  • Arrival at Davanagere:9:28am
  • Arrival at Tumakuru:12:15pm
  • Arrival at Yeshwantpur: 1:23pm

The revised schedule is expected to offer more convenient travel options for passengers commuting between northern Karnataka and Bengaluru.

Yeshwantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat (20704/20703)

Changes have also been introduced for the Yeshwantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express.

Train 20704 (Yeshwantpur To Kacheguda)

Arrival at Hindupur: 3:55pm

Train 20703 (Kacheguda To Yeshwantpur – Return Journey)

Arrival at Hindupur:12:17pm

These timing revisions aim to ensure better synchronisation with other railway services on the route.

Kalaburagi-Bengaluru Vande Bharat (22231/22232)

The Kalaburagi-Bengaluru (SMVT) Vande Bharat Express will also operate with revised station timings.

Train 22231 (Kalaburagi To Bengaluru)

  • Arrival at Sri Sathya Sai Prashanti Nilayam:11:13am
  • Arrival at Yelahanka: 12:58pm

Train 22232 (Bengaluru To Kalaburagi – Return Journey)

  • Arrival at Yelahanka:3:09pm
  • Arrival at Sri Sathya Sai Prashanti Nilayam: 4:45pm

Coimbatore-Bengaluru Vande Bharat (20642)

The Coimbatore-Bengaluru Cantonment Vande Bharat Express (20642) will also follow a revised timetable.

  • Arrival at Hosur station:12:13pm
  • Departure from Hosur: 12:15pm

Passengers Advised To Check Updated Timings

Railway officials have asked passengers who plan to travel on these Vande Bharat trains to check the new timings before they board the train. This will help travellers avoid confusion or delays during their journey.

The changes have been made as the number of passengers is expected to rise before the Yugadi festival. By adjusting the schedules, the South Western Railway hopes to run trains more smoothly, improve connections between stations and manage the festival travel rush better.
