The HX8 Diesel AT trim enables Hyundai to create a product that delivers additional value to customers who want a diesel automatic system between its mid-range and top-end model.

The announcement comes at a time when the Hyundai Venue has achieved a major milestone by crossing 1 lakh bookings in India, highlighting the growing popularity of compact SUVs in the country. The Venue has emerged as a strong contender in the sub-4-metre SUV market because of its stylish design and efficient powertrain options.
New Hyundai Venue HX8 Diesel Automatic Variant: Price and Positioning
The newly introduced HX8 Diesel Automatic variant has been priced at around ₹13.70 lakh (ex-showroom). In fact, the HX8 Diesel AT is approximately ₹1.81 lakh cheaper than the top-spec HX10 Diesel AT, offering a strong value proposition in the lineup.

Key Features and Interior

The HX8 Diesel AT model includes several advanced features which were previously reserved for upper trim levels. The SUV now comes with dual-tone leatherette seats with “VENUE” branding, which improves the total appearance of the vehicle interior.

The vehicle provides both ventilated front seats and a 4-way power-adjustable driver seat which help drivers achieve better comfort during extended driving sessions and when temperatures rise.

The vehicle offers essential features such as drive modes and paddle shifters along with connected car technology. Over-the-air software updates which demonstrate Hyundai’s dedication to creating interconnected intelligent vehicle systems. The HX8 trim package provides premium features which make it feel luxurious despite its lower price point than the flagship model.
Safety and Technology Package
Hyundai maintains its commitment to safety features throughout the entire Venue vehicle lineup. The HX8 Diesel Automatic variant comes equipped with all-wheel disc brakes together with an electronic parking brake system which includes auto-hold functionality and traction control to help drivers maintain better control over their vehicle.

The SUV continues to maintain its basic safety standards while adding new safety features through its standard equipment which includes six airbags and electronic stability control (ESC) and ABS with EBD and tyre pressure monitoring system and hill-start assist and a rear-view camera.
Engine and Performances

The Hyundai Venue diesel models use a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine which generates 114 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. The engine in the new HX8 variant works together with an automatic transmission system to provide drivers better control during city driving and urban traffic situations.
