After the grand success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Kartik Aaryan has become one of the most favourite stars of producers and is bagging some cool projects. After the remakes of Pati Patni Aur Woh and Kirik Party, Kartik will feature in Anees Bazmee’s untitled romantic comedy and will romance beautiful Disha Patani in it.
The movie will be produced by Anees along with Bhushan Kumar and will go on floors in the middle of this year. It will be shot in Mumbai and abroad.
The head-honcho of T-Series, Bhushan confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror and said, “This one is a classic Anees Bazmee-style rib-tickler romcom which will have everyone in splits.” Anees also shared his excitement about this project and told, “My journey with family-centric comedies has been a blast and now I’m looking forward to this one.”
Talking about the fresh-pair of Kartik and Disha, Bhushan said, “Disha’s work I have seen in Bharat which we are producing, she is a good performer. It’s always interesting to present a fresh pairing on screen.”
Meanwhile, Kartik will be next seen in Luka Chuppi, talking about the film, the story of this desi rom-com will travel from Mathura to Gwalior and Agra. It is directed by cinematographer Laxman Utekar, who has worked in films like Blue, Dear Zindagi and English Vinglish.
Kartik is playing the character of a star reporter from a local TV channel. On the other hand, Kriti plays a Mathura girl who had gone to Delhi to study and now is back in her hometown.
