LG Electronics has introduced a new line of UltraGear gaming monitors with the first 240Hz OLED panel in the world. The new UltraGear displays are available for pre-order in the United States beginning on Monday, December 12, and will be displayed at CES 2023 between January 5 and 8, 2023.

In January 2023, the new OLED gaming monitors will be released in important markets in North America and Asia, followed by Europe in February and the Middle East and Latin America in subsequent months.

LG Electronics Business Solutions Company’s senior vice president and head of the IT business unit, Seo Young-jae, explains, “These purpose-built monitors feature our industry-leading display technologies and provide the speed required for competitive gaming, as well as picture quality that makes everything appear more real.”

LG claims that their new 27-inch UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor (model 27GR95QE) offers a QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and an astounding 0.03ms (GTG) reaction time for a delightfully fluid, low-latency gaming experience. The Anti-glare & Low Reflection (AGLR) panel ensures a distraction-free gaming experience regardless of the ambient lighting conditions.

In addition to variable refresh rate (VRR), NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibility, FreeSync Premium, VESA Adaptive Sync, HDMI 2.1 specifications, DisplayPort 1.4 connectivity, and a 4-pole headphone jack, the monitor also supports variable refresh rate (VRR), NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibility, FreeSync Premium, VESA Adaptive Sync, and HDMI

In contrast, the 45-inch model (45GR95QE) features a WQHD (3,440 x 1,440) display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, it is the first 45-inch display with an 800R curvature. Additionally, it features a response time of less than 0.03ms GTG and a refresh rate of 240Hz.
