Moradabad: A team of doctors who rushed to quarantine the family members of two people who died due to coronavirus, has faced several injuries as the localities pelted stones on them. The team was not only pelted but also ambushed in ambulances.
Due to this, the team had to save their lives by running backward. The four policemen who accompanied him escaped leaving the health department team. It is also reportedly said that people who pelted the stone also took one of the doctors as a hostage.
When the information started spreading like a wildfire, the police force was sent to the area.
The team of Doctors faced major injuries and one of the doctor identified as Doctor HC Mishra and a technician suffered serious injuries. Dr. Sudhish Agrawal also faced serious injury.

CM Yogi Adityanath posted a series of tweets on his social media handle and said that it is a crime to hurt the frontline health workers and strict action will be taken against those who were involved in this offense.

दोषी व्यक्तियों द्वारा की गई राजकीय सम्पत्ति के नुकसान की भरपाई उनसे सख्ती से की जाएगी। जिला पुलिस प्रशासन ऐसे उपद्रवी तत्वों को तत्काल चिन्हित करें और प्रत्येक नागरिक को सुरक्षा के साथ ही उपद्रवी तत्वों पर पूरी सख्ती भी करें।
