The Indian government launched the Covid-19 contact tracing app Aarogya Setu earlier this month. It is there on the Apple App Store and Google Play store, so both iOS and Android users can download and start using it.
The Covid-19 app is available on Android and iOS, and has been installed more than 50 million times in the Google Play store.
Aarogya Setu supports English, Hindi and other regional languages. Aarogya Setu app uses your smartphone ’s location and Bluetooth features to tell you if you are in a high-risk area or even anyone nearby is affected.

COVID-19 do’s and don’ts
Here, you will find all the features of COVID-19, such as frequent hand washing, covering your mouth and nose when sneezing, etc. You can also find information about knowing if a checkup is required.
Self-assessment
You need to do this during registering on the app for the first time. However, you can do this self-assessment test later if you want.
On the app’s homepage, click “Self Assess”, then fill in your details and answer questions about Covid-19 symptoms. Based on your answer, the app will determine whether you are normal.
Covid-19 updates in India
The application also provides the latest update of the Indian Covid-19 case. At the top of the app, you will find “COVID Updates”, which contains Covid-19 cases by state.
So by clicking on that option, you will be able to know the true and exact figures of Covid-19 cases across India which include union territories.

Upcoming feature – ePass
e-Pass is an important feature of Aarogya Setu’s upcoming launch. This is indicated in the app at the top.
Although we do not have much details, it is expected that the app will act as an e-Pass during the ongoing lockdown period. But there is no official update for this feature yet.
Donate button
Aarogya Setu also provided a donation button for the PM Cares Fund. You will find this option at the bottom of the app, which mentions the fund ’s account details.
There is a “Donate Using UPI” button that you can select and pay directly through the UPI app.
