The Indian National Congress on Friday released the list of its Bihar candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Here is the list of Bihar candidates released by the Party:
- Supaul – Ranjeet Ranjan
- Samastipur – Ashok Kumar
- Munger – Neelam Devi
- Sasaram – SC – Meira Kumar
Along with Bihar, Congress also released its candidates for 7 Lok Sabha constituencies of Odisha. Supriya Shrinate is set to contest from Maharajganj in place of Tanushree Tripathi.
In another list, Congress released candidates for 20 Odisha constituency for the upcoming Assembly elections in the state.
The Lok Sabha elections in the 40-constituency state of Bihar will take place across all seven phases. Four constituencies—Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada, Jamui—will go to the polls in the first phase on April 11. The process of filing nominations for the first phase will conclude on March 25, while the scrutiny for the same will be done on March 26, the last day of withdrawing nominations is March 28.
