Madhya Pradesh: After ‘cow ministry’, govt proposes ‘cow express’

Cow express will include an emergency vehicle, a veterinarian and an attendant to treat the ill animals.

After announcing cow ministry in Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan led Madhya Pradesh government has now proposed ‘Cow Express’ to treat ill bovines on Wednesday. According to media reports, Cow Express will be officially launched on October 15.

Cow express will include an emergency vehicle, a veterinarian and an attendant to treat the ill animals. The government has also stated that a dedicated helpline number ‘1962’ for cow owners will also function in the coming days. Helpline number will assist on various issues related to bovines.

Earlier, Shivraj Singh Chouhan while announcing the cow ministry said, “I have reason to believe that the Cow Protection Board in the state should be turned into a full-fledged ministry.”
