Jyotiraditya Scindia will lead the Congress party in Madhya Pradesh polls next year, said senior party leader Kamal Nath in Guna, the Lok Sabha constituency of Scindia on Wednesday.
“There was no opposition to the name of Scindia as the leader of the party in the state,” Zee News quoted Kamal Nath as saying.
Madhya Pradesh goes to polls by next year-end. The tenure of the current assembly will end on 7 January 2019.
The party is hoping for the best in the upcoming polls in Madhya Pradesh. Notably, it has been out of power for the last 14 years.
