A shocking incident of online fraud has come to light in Madhya Pradesh. A man, Siddharth Patel, hailing from Harda district of Madhya Pradesh, befriended Ravi of Jodhpur (Rajasthan) on Facebook three years ago.
Not only this, he described him as Sanjana of Delhi. He used to talk in the voice of the girl. But, in reality, he was Siddharth, not Sanjana.
Siddharth sent the first message to Ravi and then the friendship reached the point of love and marriage. She got Ravi to travel 10 thousand 400 km to Narmada River in four times, blaming Shani and Mangal’s issues coming in between marriage.
Even after spending lakhs of rupees, Ravi filed a case with the police when he did not match Sanjana. The Chauhabo police have arrested Siddharth.
Ravi says – “Siddhartha will get punish.” But what will happen to me? I have become so attached to Sanjana that I will not be able to forget her for years. ”The police said that the accused hailed from Bhardwar Talab Handia village of Harda. He also takes out the voice of Home Minister Amit Shah as well. The victim Ravi never met Sanjana nor did she talk to her on the video call.
Siddharth prepared Sanjana’s entire family. Used to talk in everyone’s voice about conferencing. Sanjana used to talk with 9 SIMs separately, becoming his aunt, aunt, brother, father, and stepmother.
Ravi became confident with a different voice. Ravi on the phone understood that he was talking to Sanjana. Ravi traveled more than 1 lakh km in three years in the hope of getting married to Sanjana.
On Monday, the police cross-examined Siddharth and Ravi face to face. The officers were also taken aback when Siddharth took out Sanjana’s voice in front of them. However, Ravi is not ready to accept. He said- Yes, this voice belongs to my Sanjana, but it is not Siddharth.
Ravi says that he and his family are not ready to believe that Sanjana is not there. Her parents also say that Sanjana is there. Sanjana has spoken to her father, mother, sister, and brother.
All these facts are also being investigated by the police and the probe is underway.
