Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday released the fourth list of seven candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections which are scheduled for October 21.

The saffron party has announced tickets to Rohini Khadse from Muktainagar, Sunil Rane from Borivali, Rahul Narvekar from Colaba, Parag Shah from Ghatkopar East, Pradeep Padole from Tumsar, Charan Singh Thakur from Katol and Rahul Dhikale from Nashik East seats.

In the development, party’s heavyweights including Prakash Mehta, Eknath Khadse and former Education Minister Vinod Tawde have been denied ticket to contest the assembly election this time.

Cong releases names of 19 Maharashtra candidates, Nirupam upset

Friday is the final day to file nominations to contest the Maharashtra assembly polls. Candidates on a total of 150 seats have been announced.

Assembly elections in Maharashtra will be held on October 21 and the results will be declared on October 24.
