Mahindra Group owned Automobili Pininfarina, has just launched the fastest ever electric car in the world, Battista, at the Geneva Motor Show on Tuesday.
Battista comes with an expected price tag of 2 million Pounds. The all electric car is actually faster than any Formula 1 car and if the Maker Automobili Pinifarina is to be beleived the car can go from 0 to 62 mph in less than two seconds and can touch 186mph in less than 12 seconds. The car has a top speed of more than 250 mph and runs a 280 miles on a single charge.

In 2015, the Indian automobile giant Mahindra Group had bought a majority stake in Pininfarina. Mahindra also owns South Korean car company SsangYong Motor.
Besides Battista, the Mahindra Group also launched one more car, Korando in the Show. Korando is manufactured by Mahindra’s subsidiary firm SsangYong Motor Company.
