A man was stabbed to death and two of his cousins were injured on suspicion that they were carrying beef, police said on Friday. Passengers were on board a Mathura-bound train. The three men, who were the residents of Ballabhgarh in Haryana, shopped at Delhi’s Tughlakabad for the Eid festival and were on their way home.
But a heated argument broke out between them and others over meat on Thursday evening that led to a death of one. “As they were returning home, they had an argument over meat with a group of co-passengers, which took an ugly turn and they were attacked with knife. The injured were rushed to the hospital where one person died,” a Delhi Police official said, reported HT.
