Masala Games introduces Detective Dotson: The Indian game developer Masala Games has released Detective Dotson for personal computers. The game is available for wishlisting on Steam, and a functional demo is easily accessible on Valve’s platform.
An upcoming independent game titled Detective Doston combines elements of action, adventure, and traditional detective work to create a one-of-a-kind experience in contemporary India.
The protagonist, Dotson, who aspires to be a Bollywood star, is central to the narrative. His existence, however, is profoundly altered when his father, a detective, is murdered mysteriously. Dotson is thus compelled to assume the role of his father and independently resolve the case.
The makers’ gameplay clip teases the game’s many objectives. You can pursue criminals, find clues, disguise yourself to infiltrate enemy ranks, eavesdrop on enemies, and enlist allies in your investigation.
The Unity-based Detective Dotson demo supports controllers and features a co-composed soundtrack by Indian Ocean’s Nikhil Rao.

Detective Dotson will attend at the Courage XL pre-GDC event on March 17th at 9:00 p.m. PST before its release later this year.
From March 20th to 22nd, GDC guests can buy the game and enter a contest to win a Nintendo Switch at Masala Games’ stand at SU2 (opposite Alt. Ctrl. GDC) in the startup area.
