An MBA (Masters of Bussiness Administration) student of Meerut University was allegedly gang-raped in the Siyana area in this district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Saturday.
The incident took place on Thursday when the victim, a native of Garhmukteshwar, was returning from Meerut by a bus but the vehicle broke down midway after which the girl took a lift in a car, police said.
The car occupants took the girl to Siyana in Bulandshahr and gang-raped her.
The girl was also thrashed with an iron rod when she tried to resist.
According to the information, the girl is from Garh Mukteshwar.
On February 13, she was returning home from Meerut by bus. During this time the bus went bad, after which some students abducted her on the pretext of giving lift. After this, he took the student to Saina area of Bulandshahr and gang-raped her.
Not only this but during this time the victim was also beaten fiercely. On the complaint of family members, the police detected him through surveillance. The victim student was found unconscious near a village in Siana police station area. After this, she was also admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
According to IG Meerut Praveen Kumar, the case is being investigated.
In the initial interrogation, it has come to light that the student knew the accused, so when they offered to give her a lift, she went with them.
