Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between NIFT Patna and CIMP to Foster Academic Collaboration

Memorandum of Understanding: The Chandragupt Institute of Management (CIMP) and the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Patna have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) as a significant step towards enhancing educational cooperation and nurturing academic excellence. The signature ceremony took place on the NIFT Patna campus, with notable figures from both institutions in attendance.

In the presence of distinguished faculty members and administrators, the MOU was signed by (Dr.) Rana Singh, Director of CIMP, and Prof Colonel Rahul Sharma, Director of NIFT Patna. Sh. Kumod Kumar, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Executive Officer of CIMP – Business Incubation & Innovation Foundation, was also present.

This educational cooperation agreement establishes the parameters for collaboration between the two prestigious institutions. This agreement is primarily concerned with academic exchange, joint academic programmes, promotion of entrepreneurship, international conferences, seminars, and resource sharing.

Prof. (Dr.) Rana Singh, Director of CIMP, emphasised the significance of this collaboration by stating, “This MOU paves the way for an enriching academic voyage for students and faculty of both NIFT Patna and CIMP. The initiatives enumerated in the agreement will unquestionably contribute to the holistic growth of our educational community.”

Director of NIFT Patna, Col. Rahul Sharma, expressed optimism regarding the collaboration, stating, “Through this MOU, CIMP and NIFT Patna have created a dynamic environment for learning and knowledge exchange. Our combined efforts will result in a synergy that benefits our students, faculty, and the academic community at large.”

The agreement encompasses a vast array of collaborative activities, including faculty sharing, student and incubatee exchange programmes, joint research initiatives, shared infrastructure, and cultural exchanges. Through these initiatives, the two institutions hope to promote interdisciplinary learning, research, and development.

Sh. Kumod Kumar emphasised the partnership’s potential by stating, “This partnership transcends institutional boundaries and nurtures a culture of innovation and exploration. By sharing resources, expertise, and experiences, we hope to establish a thriving ecosystem that fosters innovation and excellence.”

The MOU is intended to generate new opportunities for students and faculty, enhancing their academic experiences and fostering a holistic learning environment. Both NIFT Patna and CIMP are committed to the successful implementation of the collaboration and anticipate reaching significant milestones in the years ahead.
