Urvashi Dholakia and Anuj Sachdev are the recent Jodi to be eliminated this week and the elimination has really miffed Urvashi Dholakia who believes elimination shouldn’t have so soon for her.
Keeping in mind that the duo was scoring good marks the actress is angry with the elimination process and thinks that is unfair.
“If a couple is scoring good marks, which is only increasing every week and there’s a certain vote bank that I know we have, then it’s difficult for me to believe that we were not able to win the love of our viewers,” she said. She further questioned that if a couple is moving up the scoreboard then how can they always been at the bottom four times in a row. “Is this a dance show or popularity contest?” she said.
Talking about the elimination process she said that a scoreboard should be visible so that the couple knows where they stand after the audience’s votes and the judges’ votes are added.
“And if we are being judged on popularity, then I am not ready to believe that 35 years of work leads to a low fan base. This is not just a misuse of my image, but total disrespect to the hard-earned place that I’ve made for myself in the industry,” she said. Urvashi shared that she and Anuj cannot bicker or fight about this on-screen since they agreed it was a dance show and not a “bloody fighting ring.”
The other contestants who are still competing are Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary, Rohit Reddy and Anita Hassanandani among others.
