Shikhar Dhawan sits in second place on the IPL all time run list. Even though he has now retired from the league his record is still very impressive. Dhawan scored 6769 runs across 221 innings since the IPL began in 2008.
Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma, the former captain of Mumbai Indians, is also among the top run scorers in IPL history. Since 2008 he has scored 6628 runs in 252 innings. Rohit never won the Orange Cap for the highest runs in a season.
David Warner
David Warner has also built a huge record in the IPL. The left handed opener has scored 6565 runs during his career in the tournament.
Suresh Raina
Suresh Raina was known for performing well under pressure. During his IPL career he scored 5528 runs.
MS Dhoni
MS Dhoni is widely known as one of the greatest cricket players of all time. The former India captain has scored 5243 runs in 229 IPL innings since the start of the league in 2008.

AB de Villiers is remembered as one of the most exciting players in IPL history. Since the early years of the tournament he scored 5162 runs. Chris Gayle Chris Gayle brought huge power hitting to the IPL. From 2009 to 2021 he scored 4965 runs in just 141 innings.

Ajinkya Rahane is also among the players with more than 5000 IPL runs. He has scored 5032 runs in 198 matches and 183 innings.
