Motorola Razr 40 Ultra: Motorola unveiled Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, its latest foldable smartphone for the Chinese market, earlier this month. Motorola introduced its latest flip phones, the Razr 40 Ultra and the Razr 40, in China. At an occasion in Madrid, Spain, the phones were introduced to the global market a few hours ago.
The 40 Ultra foldable smartphone is currently available for purchase in China for a starting price of 5,699 yuan, or approximately $802.
Motorola Razr 40 Ultra: Specs
The main model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs 5,699 yuan ($802), while the model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage costs 6,399 yuan ($900). There are three colour options for the smartphone: Viva Magenta, Glacier Blue, and Infinite Black.
The 40 Ultra features a 6.79-inch pOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 1,400 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. It also has a sizable secondary display on the back panel that measures 3.6 inches and has a pOLED panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The device is propelled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It has an embedded biometric scanner on the side of the power button and an IP52 rating for splash resistance.
A 12MP OIS-enabled main sensor is coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide and macro lens on the smartphone’s rear dual-camera setup. The smartphone has a 32MP front-facing camera for photographs and video calls.
The Motorola Razr, which comes preloaded with the Android 13 operating system, is propelled by a 3,300mAh battery that supports 33W quick charging.
