MP: Woman dies after bullet hits her during celebratory fire by husband

Joy turned pale at a wedding function when a man allegedly opened celebratory fire and killed his wife. The incident happened at a village in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh. It was the deceased woman’s brother marriage.

The man who shot the gun is a police constable and has earlier served in the army. He was identified as Aap Singh and is posted at Rajgarh police station in Dhar district.

Reportedly, the man was dancing and opening celebratory fire with a 12-bore rifle. He then stopped in the middle to reload his gun. While he was reloading and locking rifle a shot was fired. The bullet hit his wife.

The people attending the wedding took her to a hospital in Sadarpur. From there, the woman was referred to another hospital in Dhar. The doctor examined her and said that she breathed her last when she was shifted from the previous hospital.

Earlier also a similar incident took where a wedding was turned a nightmare after an argument broke out between a man and some other guests over the music that was playing at the wedding, the guests fired shots at the man.

In an attempt to save her husband from the bullet, the man’s wife tried to shield him. The bullet hit the woman and she collapsed. She was taken to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
