Narada Muni is a devotee of Lord Vishnu, also known as Narayana; he is frequently described as Chanting the Name Narayana, which, if uttered by humans at the time of their demise, will grant them eternal salvation.

Narada is the truth proclaimer because Narayana is the embodiment of truth. He considers all of Lord Vishnu’s creations to be of equal value, thereby supplying everyone with the truth. Thus, Narayan Jayanti is commemorated to honour the triumph of truth and holiness over evil’s corruption.

According to Hindu scriptures, Narada Jayanti is celebrated on the Pratipada Tithi during the Krishna Paksha of the Jyeshtha month. According to the North Indian Calendar, this is the case. Typically, it is observed one day after Buddha Poornima. Occasionally, the two holidays occur on the same day.

The Narada Temples are located in Chigateri, which is 50 kilometres from Davanagere and Korva, both in Karnataka, and Raichur. In these temples, Narada Jayanti is celebrated with tremendous joy. Seeking blessings, devotees and vacationers from all over the world visit these temples. Since Naradji is revered as the pioneer of communication, he is venerated in order to be endowed with the same abilities. On this day, you can observe fasting to become a master of all knowledge.
