A paste comprised of turmeric, lemon, sugar, and honey was also used to generate a radiant glow not only on the face, but the entire body. In the Middle East, beauticians incinerated a fragrant substance known as oud, and then used the resulting smoke to scent their clients’ hair.
As globalisation and commercialization increased over the decades, so did the cosmetics industry. There are now courses ranging from diplomas to bachelor’s degrees to master’s degrees that assist individuals enter the industry. Cosmetology is one of these branches of aesthetics.
