National Report Trade Agreement Act Fraud Day

National Report Trade Agreement Act Fraud Day 2023: National Trade Agreement Act Fraud Day is annually observed on June 26. It was founded in 2018 by whistleblower advocate and former Department of Justice attorney Joel D. Hesch to educate the public on the significance of reporting T.A.A. fraud, how to report the fraud, and the rewards available to whistleblowers. During his 15 years at the Department of Justice, Hesch helped recover $1.2 billion from individuals who defrauded the government and paid out hundreds of millions of dollars in rewards to whistleblowers.

DAY OF HISTORY OF THE NATIONAL REPORT ON TRADE AGREEMENT FRAUD

In 2018, former Department of Justice attorney and whistleblower advocate Joel D. Hesch established National Report Trade Agreement Act Fraud Day. Hesch now operates a law firm that specialises in representing and assisting whistleblowers with their reward claims. In addition, he published a free e-book outlining the correct way to report fraud against the military.

When federal government contractors violate the Trade Agreement Act by providing commodities, they have committed Trade Agreement Act Fraud. The Act prohibits companies with federal contracts from utilising or supplying products imported from countries without reciprocal trade agreements with the United States; doing so is considered fraud. According to statistics, up to 10 percent of government funds are lost to fraud. It is feasible that more than $50 billion in annual military funds are lost. Consequently, it is essential to uncover such fraudulent activities. The Department of Justice provides whistleblowers with up to 30 percent of the amount they assist in recovering.
