NEET Counselling 2020: MCC issues warning against fake allotment letter

NEET UG Counselling 2020: Eligible candidates for the NEET UG 2020 counselling process can visit the official portal of the medical counselling committee to check the allotment letter and the notification issued for the same.

NEET UG Counselling 2020: The Medical Counselling Committee has published a notification related to the fake allotment letters for NEET UG counselling 2020 being issued and circulated on social media.

As per authorities from the Medical Counselling Committee, no such letter has been issued by the MCC. So, aspirants are advised not to rely on such fake letters and also not to forward or share fake information with any other groups.

Eligible candidates for the NEET UG 2020 counselling process can visit the official portal of the medical counselling committee to check the allotment letter and the notification issued for the same.

Aspirants are allotted seats only on the basis of merit and choices filled by them through MCC software, which can be downloaded only by the successful candidates from the MCC website, mcc.nic.in.

Also, MCC does not allot seats for NEET admission on a nomination basis.

Authorities in its official notice made sure that necessary action will be taken against any person indulging in such malicious activities and students are also advised to lodge a complaint in Cyber Crime Cell or an FIR in case they receive such letters and bring the matter to notice of concerned authorities.

After the NEET result announcement, candidates have to grant an option to accept or refuse the allotted seat. In accordance with the NEET seat allocation, admission will be provided to 15% All India Quota, deemed universities, central universities (DU NEET, AMU NEET, BHU NEET), ESIC, AIIMS and JIPMER MBBS seats.

Aspirants who will be allotted a seat can check the process of NEET seat allotment 2020 below.

  • Go to the official website, mcc.nic.in
  • Click on the link of “Seat Allotment”
  • If the allotted seat is accepted, aspirants need to download NEET allotment letter 2020 by entering the roll number, date of birth and security pin.
  • Along with the allotment letter, students should report at the designated centres with documents and certificates for verification and completion of the admission process.
