A woman jumps off the tenth-floor balcony of her flat in Supertech Eco Village 2 in Bisrakh survives after she hits shed on the ground floor while taking her fall. She has been escorted to a hospital now in Greater Noida.
According to sources, the woman took a jump at around 11.30 am on Monday, she jumped off and was spotted doing so by passersby, who informed the police.
“We broke into her house seeing it locked from the inside, Her brother, who lives closest to her, was informed about the incident. He reached hours later. Her husband and children live in Kanpur,” said Harish Chander, DCP (Central Noida).
She was taken to Yatharth Hospital with multiple fractures.
The woman shared the apartment with her partner. Both were trying to initiate a divorce. She last spoke to her partner over the phone.
A representative of the hospital told TOI she had later been moved to the Greater Noida centre of the same hospital around 3.30 pm. She is admitted in the ICU. “She has multiple fractures and abdominal injuries. Her condition over the next 24 hours is critical,” he said.
