Nokia XR21 5G Rugged Smartphone: In May, Nokia introduced the XR21 Rugged smartphone in the United Kingdom. A month later, the device entered the United States market. Now, the smartphone is available in certain European regions and Australia.
The device has made its début in Australia with a price tag of AUD 799. In Germany, France, Spain, and the Netherlands, however, the Nokia XR21 smartphone costs EUR 599. It is only available in Midnight Black and has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In Australia, the smartphone will come with a free Nokia Wireless Speaker 2 and 33W adapter, whereas Nokia XR21 buyers in Europe will receive a free pair of Nokia Clarity earbuds.

The Nokia XR21 features a display with a centre-aligned punch-hole perforation and a 6.49-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution. It provides a smooth viewing experience with a 120Hz refresh rate and 550 nits of maximum luminance. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and can be operated with damp or gloved hands. The smartphone has a fingerprint scanner affixed on the side and two customizable buttons.
The Nokia XR21’s chassis is composed of 100 per cent recycled aluminium, lending the device a durable appearance. It complies with MIL-STD 810H military durability standards and has an IP68 rating for water resistance. In addition, it has IP69K certification, which guarantees resistance to dust, water, and impacts.
The Nokia XR21 offers photography devotees a 16MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies. A 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an LED light are housed on the device’s rear.
The Nokia XR21 is propelled by a Snapdragon 695 processor and includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It features a 4,800mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging. The Android 12 operating system provides a seamless user experience on this device.
The Nokia XR21 features extra-loud stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone socket, a USB-C port, NavIC support, 5G capability, WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1 compatibility, and a USB-C port.
