The makers of the series have come up with their own way of interacting with their audience and have opened the polling booths to fans for them to decide when the next season will come out. The streaming platform Prime Video have launched a real-life-style campaign, asking fans to vote and decide when the much-awaited next season should drop. Originally slated for release on July 2, Phulera’s biggest political showdown is now happening online.
The advertisement features comedic face-off between Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) and Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar), and Sachiv ji (Jitendra Kumar) presents the audience with a different kind of offer: a vote to watch the show if it publishes the first episode in advance. The ad opens with Pradhan ji (Raghubir Yadav) and Vikas (Chandan Roy) rapping in support of Manju Devi’s campaign only to interrupted by Banrakas Bhushan for his wife, Kranti Devi, singing a counter-song. The ludicrous promises of both candidates, ranging from airbag installed cycles to runways in the village, are as funny as they are ludicrous, and fit well with the tone of the show.

Panchayat has stealthily become one of India’s most loved OTT series, produced by Chandan Kumar and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra.
